Horse Halloween Party

I just thought you would all be interested in what Robbie, Sally and Holly dressed up for Halloween as. Yes, our horses dressed up for the 4-H Halloween party. Bowdee and Sally went as Grease Lightning and Danny. Sally had her red flashes on the sides and license plate in the back. When it was time to take them off however, the license plate hit her back end and was dangling which scared the crap out of her. She took off running all around the arena like a wild mustang... Oh wait she is a wild mustang silly me. They were cute!

Matia and Robbie took first place in cutest costume as Matia as Mary and Robbie as her little lamb. Yes, they were darling I do have to say myself. Matia was very particular about how everything had to look just right and her perfectionism sure paid off with receiving a trophy.

Treg and Holly took 3rd scariest costume. as they were one big Cowboy Ghost. This was a scary costume to me because I was so afraid of Holly getting startled and running and treg trying to see and hold on under the sheet. But Holly was perfect and oh so sweet. Way to go to all my kids with all their costume ideas! What a fun party thanks to all of those who spent so much time making it fun for everyone.

Prince Charming

So with Matia being in the Goat Milk business we realized we need to breed her goat sometime soon so she will have kids in the spring and we will be able to start milking her. So once again she searched and searched on KSL for a billy she could pay a stud fee to service her Princess Cinderella. There was nothing available but she did find this billy in Lehi for a fair price of $50.00 he is a mini Nubian and 1&1/2 years old. We got there and I simply fell in love with this little guy. He loves people! And he is so stinking cute. Yes he is stinky because he is a billy but wow never thought I would like a billy like this. Welcome to Crazy Creek little guy.

I do have to say while we were there they offered us this DARLING baby donkey for free. He was a rescue with no mom to take care of and the owners were feeling a little over whelmed. He was so cute I would have brought him right home but my husband stopped me with a text that said "HECK NO" I didn't think I could fight him with that one so I told myself maybe next year when the ranch is a little more financially stable we can find something like that. But oh he was cute.
