Meet Maximus adopted (Aug 16, 2013) he is Kiwi's replacement in lessons we purchased him from the same institute we adopted Holly from. Maximus (formerly known as Peanut) is an older registered gelding who has been
used as a lesson horse for beginning riders for the last eight years. He is a
Arab Quarter horse mix and has done a little of everything in his life. He is a
larger, well build horse, at 16 hands, and can carry a large adult. He is up to
date on all shots, worming, hoof, and teeth care. He is in very good health and
is easy to shoe, clip, bath, and load. He gets along well with other horses and
his ground manners are very good. He has given lessons in English and Western,
barrel racing, jumping, bareback riding, dressage, and much more. He loves the
trails and I have never had a problem with him on a trail ride, including,
crossing water, fighting with other horses, or anything else.
